At its heart, this project was about capturing the soul of Bahrain. In collaboration with Saqf for the Ministry of Tourism, I led the creative direction of a 90 page Travel Guide designed to be more than just a manual , it’s a visual narrative.
My process began with raw sketches and deep color exploration, seeking a palette that felt both ancient and cutting-edge. I wanted to move away from traditional tourism tropes to create something contemporary and human. Every layout was an exercise in balance: honoring our deep cultural roots while speaking to a modern, global audience. It was about finding the rhythm between white space, storytelling, and heritage.
